]Renovation projects forces us to reassess our homes, offices and living areas, making critical decisions regarding the spaces where we spend the most time. Renovating kitchens can be overwhelming, but we’ve put together a few tips to making planning easier.
Plan the space
Are you planning to use your kitchen for entertaining? Will you be cooking large meals? Do you have children? Plan the space accordingly. If you often entertain large numbers of people in your kitchen/living area for example, assign more space to seating rather than installing wide counters.
Cabinets first
Cabinets are the foundation of your kitchen and good quality ones will see you through many years to come. These are the hardest to get right, but choosing well made cabinets will future proof your kitchen. Our BUTCHER’S KITCHEN cabinets are made of solid oak or ash doors.
Top of the countertops
