Navy Kitchen

VOGUE kitchen

Welcome to a prime example of a kitchen which transcends basic utility into an astonishing space which is both high performing and so aesthetically pleasing it could have served as a catwalk runway. Annika Rowson’s latest project is a one-off celebration of minimalistic elegance, unmistakably wrapped in sleek modernity. The vibe is VOGUE.

The features worth pointing out in this project are many, however the centerpiece is undoubtedly its island. Curved, fluted and fitted with a caesarstone top, this is an element which at first glance appears simple, but is in fact a carefully designed statement piece which subtly dictates the space as a whole. The flutes are picked up in the reeded glass displays, the navy tone is echoed in the sleek back wall and the soft curves are contrasted against their strictly arranged surroundings. Without realising it, we are looking at a visual synergy where every detail is in sync.

No fashion show without drama though, the unexpected component is achieved through the use of brass tapware and Smoked bronze CLOSET BARS and T-BARS; flamboyant enough to stir things up, courteous enough not to cause a scene, and what we encounter is a very sophisticated space, radiating with fashionable grace.
