INTRODUCING: CHOPPER CHAIR

This year marks not only our 10th anniversary but the release of the first chair from Buster + Punch. Chopper is a tale of a father and son’s shared passion for design, motorbikes and forms that leave a lasting impression in the soul. It’s a chair with a magnetic allure and timeless visual stance.

The chair was initially created in 1973 by Marcello Minale, a revered designer in his own right and father of Buster + Punch’s Founder and Creative Director, Massimo Buster Minale. Chopper was ahead of its time and one of the first tubular steel chairs. As we celebrate our 10th anniversary, it felt like the perfect time to revisit and reinvigorate the design with Buster + Punch’s attitude and detailing.

The iconic tubular 70s silhouette of the original Chopper now has a wider gauge steel frame for increased durability. The stackable chair is finished in a more contemporary, futuristic, deep black chrome finish. Chopper’s original proportions remain, giving a relaxed but engaged support and comfort. The thick, replaceable, full-grain leather seat and backrest will develop a beautiful patina over time, and B+P logo caps in brass provide a little extra pop.

Chopper ships flat-packed to reduce packaging by 75% and lower transport emissions.
