What a view…
One of our favourite interior designers, Annika Rowson, returns with a custom kitchen that sets the tone for the rest of this build in Muriwai, New Zealand. Surrounded by ocean views, rolling hills and vertiginous cliff tops, the home’s timber clad exterior is a theme that extends into the interior spaces. Calm rendered Venetian plaster work and the timber are used to frame specific points within the home, including the central kitchen.
Within the neutral frame sits black cabinets and dark worktops, which are energised with shots of brass Buster + Punch hardware including pull bars and furniture knobs. Matching brass hardware is also added to the adjacent scullery, linking the spaces together seamlessly.
With these kinds of views inside and out… it’s the definition of ‘eye candy’.
