A small puck-shaped LED light bulb, finished with an opal polycarbonate (non-dimmable) or glass (dimmable) shell to give a uniform warm-white light.

Looks especially great when teamed up with our HOOKED light shades and CAGED lights. Choose between 5W dimmable or 2.5W non-dimmable warm white LED. This bulb consumes just 1/50th the energy of traditional bulbs and fits in any E27 screw light fitting.

Please note: that the non-dimmable PUNCH BULB is intended for use with on/off switches only, and is not compatible with any dimmer switch. The dimmable PUNCH BULB requires an LED compatible dimmer switch, such as our dimmer switches.

The puck bulb is a disappointing bulb in how average it is but also how inconsistent they are from batch to batch. All of the bulbs I have push a little green like a lot of mid level bulbs - they remind of fluorescent lighting. If colour fidelity is important to you then avoid them. Another issue I have is that when using them in a grouping you can notice the bulbs are all a bit different in colour temperature, hue, and brightness At low light they look to be searching for a stable point and they slowly ramp up and down in brightness. It is important to note that I am using B & P dimmers and the project has new wiring throughout.
